Engaged: June 19, 2010

I finally got engaged.
After 7 years with my boyfriend.
I am so happy and the ring is beautiful.
The one on top is my grandmas and the bottom is my engagement.

When I was a little girl, I've always dreamed of how my wedding will look like. I would draw pictures and cut out dresses from magazines and paste them on construction paper. I used to imagine falling in love with someone. As years went by, I finally know now how it feels like. I don't imagine an extraordinary wedding. I don't think about the dress, the ring, nor the event. Getting married and rushing into things is not on my mind, even though we've been together for more than 7 years. All that matters is just being with him at this very moment. I just want to press pause for every second I have with him. My mom always told me before, "Only give your whole self to the person you're going to marry." It came to me naturally. He is my first.....everything! He may not be perfect, but I am not either. Realizing a flaw he has is the reason you love him even more and knowing that you can be who you are around him. I feel very lucky and blessed to have found someone like him. I love you Marvin and Happy Birthday.
